Co-curated exhibition with Artist Clair Aldington and Laura, owner of more than 1000 Peerie Boxes.

The exhibition was funded through Alzheimer Scotland and Luminate, Scotland’s creative ageing festival.

The Great Shetland Care Centre Creativity Swap  2014/15         

Art Sessions were held for Shetland Arts as part of their 3 year creative programme but also as part of Scottish Project Luminate which enabled the artwork to be exhibited throughout the isles in various care settings.

Participants to the sessions did a bit of painting, some printmaking and then combined the two in creating small folding books.  The books used haiku weather poems for painting inspiration. Participants also created their own 'precious vessels' inspired by the St Ninian's Isle treasure, taken from Shetland in the late 50's but recently returned to the islands on loan.
